Michele was one of my long-time colleagues in Duneland. I can remember when I first met her. We shared a common love of music - she of the piano and I of the violin. As her position became that of the radio station, we shared many visits in her studio at CHS. As a personality on WDSO, she interviewed several of my conductors and promoted their concerts in the region. Another connection was her sister, Debbie, who was in my French class at the old Chesterton Junior High for a year, and her brother Mitch who was also in my French class at the high school. Michele will be sorely missed, and it is my prayer that the God of all comfort will be with the family at this time. God bless you and keep you.
Your friend,
Elaine

On behalf of every WDSO student's life that Michele touched with her kindness and wisdom, Thank you Michele, Thank you for everything you did for the station. Thank you for taking so much pride in what you did, thank you for making each and every WDSO member smile. Thank you for showing kindness to the students who did not always treat you with the most kindness. Thank you for allowing me to change everything up on you last year, and thank you for being gracious and patient as I taught you. Thank you for teaching me everything that you did, and thank you for quite literally being the heart and soul of WDSO. My heart hurts for the students that will never get to meet you, learn from you, or ask you for a lunch pass. Michele, you were an amazing person, and I know you're looking down on us smiling now. Thank you, Michele.

Michelle was an absolute joy to be around. Every time I saw her she was smiling, telling stories, and spreading her love of art, music, and family. Her spirit of light and love will be dearly missed. My heart goes out to you, Deborah, Mitch & Mary Lou, and everyone who knew and loved her. I'm so sad to be learning of the visitation and services right now, as they are in progress. I so wish I was there with you all to send her off with the kind of love she showed to all of us through the years.
