Ruth was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church, where she participated in the bell choir for nearly 20 years. She loved to garden and grew some amazing roses and veggies. She liked birds and loved to sing and read, particularly about the mysteries of our universe. She was employed at Thomas and Hageman Libraries during the 1970’s.  Ruth was devoted to her family above all else. She was always supportive with her unconditional love for her family. Her strong faith helped her to endure many hardships and to accept her final journey home.

My Aunt Ruth will always be special in my heart. When I was very young and was at Grandma Woods house she would come home as fast as she could to play with me. She once taught me how to box. My baby blanket had my picture in it made by her. My mother, her sister, loved her very much. My cousins are in my prayers.
