So sorry for your loss. Remembering Emma and our visits. We loved the smells of her cooking wafting over to our house. We would know she was cooking something good. Wishing you peace in your hearts. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Members of the Makarewich Family,
I just discovered news about your mother's falling asleep in the Lord. May she and your father dwell with the blessed. From my childhood in Hammond in the late 1950's
To this very day I clearly remember how beautifully your mother, her sisters, your father, Steve Baran, and Sue Rosolanka sang at St. Nicholas Church. At the same time I discovered that your brother, whom I remember as a little boy, has also gone to the-world-to-come. My parish is Holy Dormition, Cumberland RI, where I have been for the past thirty years. May their memory be eternal!
Fr. Vasily Lickwar
