Wallace “Wally” Drlich, age 83 of Valparaiso, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the VNA Hospice Center. He was born on January 13, 1932 in Gary, IN to Lozo and Mildred Ranolvich-Drlich, both of whom preceded him in death.
On March 24, 1953 in Gary, IN he married Evelyn Schauberger-Drlich, who survives in Valparaiso.
He is also survived by his children: Edward Alan Drlich of Gary, Pamela Sue Veden of Michigan City, and Robert (Dawn) Drlich of Grandville, MI; his grandchildren, Joshua and Alayna and his sister, Natalie Hafemeister of Schererville.
He is also preceded in death by his brother, Daniel and his sisters Jeannette and Darlene
Wally was a member of Fairhaven Baptist Church for forty-five years, where he worked in the kitchen at the college for thirty years, and was an active member of the Jolly 60’s. He was also a proud Army Veteran.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 12 p.m. at Fairhaven Baptist Church, 86 E Oak Hill Rd, Chesterton, IN, with Pastor Steve Damron officiating. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the family.
