Virginia L. (Wilson) Gilbertson

       Virginia L. Gilbertson, age 92 of Chesterton, IN, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024.  She was born on October 1, 1932, in Kentucky, to Floyd and Bertha (Hyde) Wilson, both of whom preceded her in death.

       She is survived by her loving daughter, Rhonda (Mike) Wiseman of Porter, IN; her treasured grandchildren: Nathan (Melinda) Wiseman, Jeffrey Wiseman, Brayden Scott, Dustin Foster, and Tylar Foster; two great-grandchildren, Cody Hebda and Esmeralda Scott; her siblings: Robert (Joy) Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, and Linda McDonald; and by her many nieces and nephews.

       In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jeri and son-in-law, Bill Foster.

       Virginia was a member of Good Shepard Church.  She was also an avid reader.
 

       Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 4:45 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St., Chesterton, IN.  The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
