Susan Kay (Spencer) Erow

       Susan Kay Erow, age 75 of Chesterton, IN, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

       She was born on January 28, 1946 in Marion, IN to James R. and Catherine (Comer) Spencer, both of whom preceded her in death.

       In 1964 in Buchannan, MI, she married the love of her life, Richard Erow Jr., who survives. She is also survived by her loving children: Tammi (Rick) Davidson of Anderson, IN and Ken (Jamie) Erow Sr. of Chesterton, IN; her treasured grandchildren: Baylee (Joseph) Rodriquez of Indianapolis, IN, Griffin (Mady) Davidson of Anderson, IN, Kenny Erow Jr. of Chesterton, IN, Grace Davidson of Anderson, IN and Reece Erow of Chesterton, IN; brother Gary (Rhonda) Spencer and sister-in-law Jill Spencer.

       She was also preceded in death by her son, Kevin Erow and her brother, JR Spencer.

       Susan was a devoted member of Faith Bible Church of Valparaiso. She was heavily involved in church. Her grandchildren were most special to her, having week-long camps for them and taking them each on a one-time special vacation. She and her husband loved to travel, often camping, extensively.

       The family will receive friends Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St. Chesterton, IN. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 11 a.m. A one-hour visitation will precede the services at Faith Bible Church, 305 E. 400 N. Valparaiso, IN with Pastor Andy Wenthold officiating.
