Steven Frederick Berger

       Steven Frederick Berger, 69, born October 2, 1954 passed away March 12, 2024 at his residence in Chesterton. Steve was born in Valparaiso, Indiana and lived most of his life in the Chesterton/Valparaiso area.

       He was preceded in death by his mother, Carola Phillips, his stepfather Clyde Phillips, and his beloved basset hound, Sasha.

       Steve was a former truck driver and loved NASCAR and cooking.  Steve was a member of Chesterton United Methodist Church, and he had been part of the Chancel Choir and Men's Group.  Steve will be sorely missed by his church family. 

       A Celebration of Life will be part of the 10:30 Service April 21st at Chesterton United Methodist - all are welcome.
