Sharon Tucker Obituary

Sharon Kay Tucker, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024, after a courageous battle with a rare blood cancer. Born on August 16, 1954, to Lewis Cites and Mary Beck, Sharon’s journey of love and connection was enriched when she was raised by her adoptive father, Ken Theis, who guided her with wisdom and care.

Sharon had an incredible gift for making everyone feel at home. She had a vibrant love for life, embracing the mystical and whimsical, especially her fascination with dragons. Sharon found joy in connecting with her online friends through Slotomania and cherished every moment spent playing Yahtzee, Skip-Bo, Phase 10, and Spades with her family. A computer whiz, Sharon was always ready to help whip up anything anyone needed. Her love of cooking and baking warmed both hearts and homes, but her favorite pastime was fishing or sitting peacefully by the lake with her devoted husband, Eddy Tucker, the love of her life and best friend.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Eddy; her two sons, Nicholas Nicholson (Charity) and Kenny Nicholson; and her cherished grandchildren, Seaauna, Dominick, Dakota, Cheyenne, Adam, McKenna, Aaron, and Ivy. She also maintained a close bond with her former daughter-in-law, Charna Iverson (Danny).

She leaves behind her sister Natalie White (Matt) and her brother Ken Theis, who will forever remember her with love.

Sharon is reunited in peace with her birth parents, Lewis Cites and Mary Beck Albertson; her adoptive mothers, Fern Beck and Mary Theis; her sister Patti Holst; and her brothers Neil Theis, Brian Cites, and Terry Albertson.

Sharon’s love, laughter, and unwavering strength will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
