Russell Gloyeske was born in Chesterton on October 28, 1935 to Theodore and Margaret (O’Connor) Gloyeske, both of whom preceded him in death. He passed away on February 2, 2022.
He graduated from Liberty Township High School May of 1954. He served in the National Guard for 7 years. He was also a member of the Carpenter Union Local 1485. Russ worked as a carpenter doing industrial, commercial and residential carpentry for 67 years.
He is survived by Beverly (Novak) Gloyeske, his wife of 61 years. Also, his 3 daughters: Faye (David) D’Anthony, Alicia Gloyeske and Shirley Gloyeske; his grandchildren: Kit (Andy) Carper and Victoria D’Anthony; and by his brothers Ralph (Mary) Gloyeske and Roy (Carol) Gloyeske.
His brothers Glen Gloyeske and Owen Gloyeske preceded him in death.
Private funeral services will be held at White-Love Funeral Home.
