Robert “Harold” Mullican

       Robert “Harold” Mullican, age 85 of Porter, IN, passed away on April 21, 2023.  He was born on November 19, 1937 in Sparta, TN to Robert and Lorine (Sherrell) Mullican, both of whom preceded him in death.

       On November 2, 1957, he married the love of his life, Marian Hilda (McKinney) Mullican, who survives in Porter, IN. He is also survived by his loving son, Paul (Tina) Mullican of Owasso, OK; daughter-in-law, Carri Mullican of Valparaiso, IN; his grandchildren: Brandon (Leslie), Justin, Kelsee, Cheryl, David, and Sharon; ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and by his brother, Kenneth Mullican of McMinnville, TN.

       In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Keith Mullican and grandson, Aaron Mullican.

       Harold was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hammond since 1990. He volunteered over 300 hours at Porter hospital, and was given a plaque for all of his dedication. He was the Owner Operator of Mullican Plumbing since 1960. He also provided free plumbing for 10 churches and a women’s shelter.

       Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 11 a.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St., Chesterton, IN.  Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.
