Peggy D. (Dalton) Dalton

 

 

On July 3, 1950 in Pulaski, VA, she married Clyde Dalton Sr., who preceded her in death on March 25, 1983. 

 

Peggy is survived by her children: Lana Kurfman of McKinney, TX, Clyde Dalton Jr. of Sister Lakes, MI, and Jon (Danette) Dalton of Rhinelander, WI; her grandchildren: Lana Dalton of Salt Lake City, UT, Dana Dalton of Chesterton, IN, Billy Kurfman of Nevada, TX, and Michael Kurfman of Garland, TX; and by her great-grandchildren: Kaleb, Caden, Korbin, Payge, and Sylas. 

 

Peggy was a member of Porter United Methodist Church for many years. She was also a loyal volunteer at the Duneland Resale Shop.

She loved to travel, swim in Lake Michigan, and collect sea shells. She also loved attending concerts and visiting lighthouses. 

She worked for Clark Equipment and Weil McClain as a telephone switchboard operator and receptionist for 16 years.

 

A Funeral Service to celebrate Peggy’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St., Chesterton, IN with Chaplin Lauren Mache officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
