Nancy A. Bross

       Nancy A. Bross, age 59 of Valparaiso, IN, passed away on December 14, 2022.  She was born on December 16, 1962 in Valparaiso, IN to Gerald Bross who preceded her in death and Elaine (Smedman) Bross, who survives.  

       She is also survived by her loving sons, Erik (fiancé Kourtney Morris) Bross of Valparaiso, IN and Greg (Lauren Heaven) Gentry of Carmel, IN; her treasured grandchildren: Daniel Bross, Karsyn Morris, and Claire Gentry; and by her sister, Carolyn Parrigan of Tennessee.

       In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Steven Bross and by her grandparents, Leonard and Edna Bross and Melvin and Aileen Smedman.

       Nancy was a senior nurse at Anthem for several years.  She proudly earned a B.S. in Agronomy from Purdue University, a B.S. in Nursing from Purdue University, and a Masters degree in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and loved her dogs, Charlie and Toby.

       Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 1 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St., Chesterton, IN with Pastor Ruth Popkin officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.
