Nancy (McVay) Blunk

       Nancy (McVay) Blunk, age 71 of Valparaiso, IN, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 8, 1949 in LaPorte, IN to Wilbert and Irma (Houston) McVay, both of whom preceded her in death.

       She is survived by her loving son, Kenneth (Anna) Marquardt of Valparaiso; her treasured grandchildren, Ryan Marquardt of Lake Station and Reagan Marquardt of Valparaiso; her siblings: June Lenig McVay, Nora Sherwood McVay, Barbara Homan McVay, Beverly Raima McVay, Bob McVay, and Ray McVay; and by her sisters-in-law: Diane McVay, Dee McVay, and Sandra McVay. 

       She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Art Blunk and by her siblings: Jim McVay, Betty Bagwell McVay, Guy Richard McVay, and Rev. Bill McVay.  

       Nancy will forever be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister.

       No services will be held at this time.

       In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Nancy may be given to her family.
