Mark James Dutcher

       Mark James Dutcher, age 43 of Valparaiso, IN passed away on May 27, 2023. He was born on January 15, 1980 to Marlon and Jennie (York) Dutcher, both of whom preceded him in death.

       He is survived by his brothers, Shawn (Nicole) Dutcher of Chesterton, IN, Mike Dutcher of Valparaiso, IN, and Matt Dutcher of Chesterton, IN; his nieces and nephews: Zoey, Camden, Liam, and Matti; his many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and by his beloved girls, Sadie and Kasie. 

       In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, by his aunt, and his beloved dog "Buddy"

       Mark was a member of the Valparaiso Nazarene Church. In his free time, he enjoyed bowling, baseball, golf, and karaoke. He was a coach and mentor to many. Mark was a beautiful person inside and out. He had the biggest heart and cared so deeply for those around him. He graciously spread that love through his copius efforts of volunteer work. His kindness had an impact on so many lives. We will always love and miss you!

       A Celebration of Life will be held on June 9, 2023 at Portage Missionary Baptist Church, 7045 Lenburg Rd, Portage, IN from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial contributions be made to his https://gofund.me/06f6ccb0 to help aid in his final arrangements.
