Marjorie Foster Obituary
Marjorie Foster, age 86 of Valparaiso, passed away on March 30, 2019. She was born on April 28, 1932 in Chesterton, IN to William and Martha (Erikson) Schrader, both of whom preceded her in death.
On November 28, 1959, she married Jay Foster, who preceded her in death on November 27, 2013, after 54 years of marriage.
Marjorie is survived by her brother, LaVern Schrader; her nieces and nephews: Kathryn Pletka, Ron Schrader, Bob Schrader, Debbie Kreczmer, and Cindy Needham; and by her many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Carl Schrader and Grant Schrader.
She was a graduate of Chesterton High School and acquired additional training to become an accountant. She loved gardening and was an accomplished seamstress.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 11 a.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton, IN. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.
