Lynda Ann (Nickel) Fowler

       Lynda Ann Fowler, age 83 of Chesterton, IN, passed away on December 30, 2024.  She was born on November 25, 1941, in Gary, IN to Arthur and Avis (Pillman) Nickel, both of whom preceded her in death.

       She is survived by her loving children: Corey (Valerie) Fowler of Peoria, AZ, Michael Fowler of Chesterton, IN, and Michelle (Jason) Rodgers of Carol Stream, IL; her grandchildren: Domenic Spino, Logan Fowler, Emma Rodgers, Katherine Rodgers, and Alexander Rodgers.
       In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Nickel.
       Lynda adored her grandchildren and loved planting flowers with them.  She was also active in her garden club. She loved traveling and spending time at the family cottage on the Tippecanoe River.
       A private service with family and friends will be held this summer.
