Linda Gail (Donaldson) Friday

 Linda Gail Friday, age 56 of Burns Harbor, passed away on September 26, 2017. She was born on July 1, 1961 in Gary, IN to Louis Donaldson who preceded her in death and Ruby Donaldson who survives in Alabama.
On June 1, 1994, she married Glenn Russell Friday, who survives in Chesterton.

Linda is also survived by her children: Joseph (Candice) Gerber of Kentucky, Shannon Gerber of Lake Station, Sammi (James) Stacey-Gerber of Chesterton, Heather (Brandon) Willsey of Chesterton, Becky (Brian) Britz of Michigan, Stormy Friday of Chesterton, and Annie Friday of Burns Harbor; her grandchildren: Justin, Chloe, Ryan, Hannah, Abigail, Dylan, Harold Cameron and Reagan; her siblings: Louis and Annette Donaldson of Alabama, Ruby (Kim) Roberts of Portage, Albert (Jean) Donaldson of Alabama, James (April) Donaldson of Alabama, Sue Donaldson of Alabama, Pattie (Johnny) Horton of Alabama; many nieces and nephews; and by her beloved dogs, Charlie and J.D. and grand kitty, “Shady.”

She is also preceded in death by her sisters Judy Marie Donaldson and Margaret Elaine.

Linda was the manager at Stonequarry Lounge in Portage. She loved riding on her Harley with her husband, Glenn. She also enjoyed planning camping trips for her family and going to Colts games. She loved the beach.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 6 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South Second Street, Chesterton, IN with Pastor Gretchen Gibbs officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
