Leonore “Lee” (Carden) Binkowski

       Leonore “Lee” Binkowski, age 80 of Chesterton, IN, passed away on December 13, 2024.  She was born on September 8, 1944, in Brooklyn, NY to Leonard and Filamena (Capone) Carden, both of whom preceded her in death. 

       On October 18, 1975, she married the love of her life, Marvin Binkowski, who survives in Chesterton, IN.

       She is also survived by her brothers, Jerry Carden of Indianapolis, IN and Leonard (Sharon) Carden of Portage, IN; and by her nephew, Larry (Jane) King of Greenville, SC.

       In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Pat, and aunt, Anna.

       Lee loved reading and listening to music.  She and her husband, Marvin, had an indescribable bond. She will be missed more than words can say by her loving husband.

       Private family services will be held at the funeral home.
