Lenora R. (Charlson) Iwan-Henry

       Lenora R. Iwan-Henry, age 94 of Porter, IN, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026. She was born on November 18, 1931, in Valparaiso, IN to G. Raymond and Anna (Svancar) Charlson, both of whom preceded her in death.

       She is survived by her loving daughters, Linde (Larry) Hardaway of Porter, IN and Starla (John) Van Wormer of Portage, IN; her step-daughter, Jan (Larry) Iwan-Stuber of Holly Hill, FL; her granddaughters, Kelsi (Eddie) Wilkie of Portage, IN and Kadie Van Wormer of Phoenix, AZ; her sister, Lova (John) Watkins of Carmel, IN; and by her nephews: Chris (Karla) Etchason, Ray (Karen) Etchason, and Jeff (Tina) Watkins.

       In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ted Iwan; her sisters, Leona Rayan Charlson and Lavonne (Orrie) Etchason; and by her son-in-law, Larry Hardaway. 

       Lenora was a server at Red Carpet Lounge and Savoy for many years. She loved playing solitaire on her iPad and doing word search puzzles. She will forever be remembered as a wonderful mother, stepmother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

       A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Chesterton Cemetery.

       In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the donor’s choice.
