Larry Lee Obituary
Larry Ronald Lee, age 82 of Chesterton, IN, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2019 in Chesterton. He was born on November 24, 1937 in Porter, IN to Donald Barton Lee and Alta Olive (Johnson) Lee, both of whom preceded him in death.
On December 1, 1978, he married the love of his life, Carolyn Lee, who preceded him in death after 41 blissful years of marriage.
He is survived by his loving children: Bruce Allen Lee of Michigan, Kitty Ilene (Brian) Moore of Florida, and Kimberly Sue (Mike) Lee of Chesterton, IN; his 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; his sister, Shirley (Jerry) Cline; his furry friend, Janice Joplin; his good friends: Marilyn, Larry, and Mary; and by his many nephews and nieces.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Donald Lee Jr. and his sister, Judith Lee.
Larry proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He retired from Bethlehem Steel after more than 40 years of service. He was a longtime member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church, and was also a loyal member of the American Legion Post 0170. He loved bird watching and gardening. He will always be loved and never forgotten.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, 106 E 1100 N, Chesterton, IN with Reverend Erich R. Fickel officiating. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St., Chesterton, IN.
