Joseph Hawes

       Joseph Hawes, age 67 of Chesterton, IN, passed away suddenly on April 18, 2026.  He was born on September 9, 1958 in Hartford, CT, to Stanley and Ineffie Hawes, both of whom preceded him in death. 

       On April 11, 2011 in Valparaiso, IN, he married the love of his life, Tammy Dranchak, who survives in Chesterton, IN. He is also survived by his beloved German Shepherd, Rien.

       Joseph proudly served his country as a Navy Seal. 

       Services will be held at a later date.
