John H. Miller

       John H. Miller, age 92 of Chesterton, IN, passed away on September 28, 2025. He was born on October 19, 1932, in Frederick, MD to Charles and Ella (Schill) Edgar, both of whom preceded him in death. 

       He is survived by his loving children: Sharon (Dan) Millington of Delaware, Leonard Miller of Porter, IN, Michelle (Keith) Janosky of Chesterton, IN, and Stephen Miller of Chesterton, IN; his treasured grandchildren: Jacqueline (David) Lloyd of Delaware and John (Jenny) Miller of Valparaiso, IN; and by his adoring great-grandchildren: Madelyn, Macey, Sophia, and Colton. 

       In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty (Kosinski) Miller on September 4, 2022, and by his brothers, Charles Miller and Robert Miller.

       John proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and tinkering on various projects in the garage with the help of his neighbors Tim, Victor, and Carl.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of John may be given to the American Heart Association or to Dunes Hospice, Valparaiso Indiana.

       Private family services will be held.
