John Albert Beyer Jr.

       John Albert Beyer Jr., age 77 of Porter, IN, passed away on September 2, 2023. He was born on August 23, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA to John Albert Beyer Sr. and Alberta (Bishop) Beyer, both of whom preceded him in death. 

       He is survived by his loving daughters, Becky (Ted) Fry of Valparaiso, IN and Kelly (Ron) Lawson of Canton, OH; his grandchildren: Aidan, Madeline, Nicole, Delaney, and Aaron; and by his brother, David Beyer of Pittsburgh, PA. 

       In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Beatrice Beyer in 2020. 

       John proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and was also a member of the American Welding Society. He loved gardening and was a Steelers fan.

       No services will be held at this time.
