Joan Blink Obituary
Joan Blink, age 77, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2020. She was born on March 31, 1943 to Everett and Lillian Phelps, both of whom preceded her in death.
On September 1, 1962, in Highland, IN, she married the love of her life, Darryl Blink, who survives. She is also survived by her loving children, Paul (Debbie) Blink of Newport, RI and Christine (Greg) DePorter of Ogden Dunes, IN; her adoring grandsons, Reagan DePorter of Pensacola, FL and Alex DePorter of Ogden Dunes, IN; and by her sisters, Janet (Ken) Eichelberger of Grayslake, IL and Jane (Ron) Roades of Glen Allen, VA.
Joan was a church pianist for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending her retirement years at her house in upper Wisconsin fishing and gardening with friends and relatives and her husband of 57 years, Darryl. Joan will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
A Memorial Service will be at Open Bible Church, 1400 W Porter Ave., Chesterton, IN on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 10 a.m. with a visitation from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Memorial donations in honor of Joan may be given to Open Bible Church.
