JoAnne (Adams) Madura

       JoAnne Madura, age 67 of Westville, IN, passed away on May 5, 2022.  She was born on December 9, 1954 in Fort Hood, Texas to James and Louise Adams, both of whom preceded her in death.  On February 14, 2012, she married the love of her life, Curt Madura, who survives in Chesterton, IN.  She is also survived by her loving children: Veronica (Rodney) Paredes-Smoote of Michigan City, IN, Tanya (Dan) Harper of Texas, and Edwin (Ashley) Negron of Chesterton, IN; her treasured grandchildren: Isaac, Ian, Mikey, Levi, Piper, and Lucas; her siblings: Brenda Dill of Arkansas, Jerry (Sue) Downs of Michigan City, IN, and Tim Adams of Colorado; and by her beloved dog, Bailey. 

       In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Mike Adams. 

       JoAnne liked to run, go to the beach, and enjoyed watching WWE wrestling.  She was a faithful employee at Jewel, and never missed a day in her 28 years of employment.  Most of all she loved her children, grandchildren, and her beloved Westipoo. 

       A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St., Chesterton, IN.  

       In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of JoAnne may be given to St. Joseph's Carmelite Home, 4840 Grasselli St, East Chicago, IN 46312.
