Jerry Cline, age 86 of Valparaiso, IN passed away on February 5, 2025. He was born on August 9, 1938, in Geneva, IN to Herman and Nellie (Spencer) Cline, both of whom preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving children: Tina Masson of Chesterton, IN, Lora Mastile of Porter, IN, Scott (Angela) Masson of Michigan City, IN, Stacy (Scott) Tharp of LaPorte, IN, Cara (Jeff) Wetzel of West Lafayette, IN, and Curt (Katie) Masson of Kouts, IN; his 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and by his sisters, Sondra Moser of Brownsburg, IN and Kay Harley of Syracuse, IN.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his beloved second wife, Shirley (Lee) Cline on August 13, 2022; his step-daughter, Lisa Masson on September 26, 2023; his son, Jeff Cline on November 5, 2011; and by his first beloved wife, Lynette Carmichael on June 26, 1979.
Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a devoted member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and was a retired member of Union 1485.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 106 E 1100 N, Chesterton, IN, with Rev. Erich Fickel officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11, 2024, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St., Chesterton, IN.
