Jennifer Rae (Quigley) Swickard

       Jennifer Rae Swickard, age 66 of Valparaiso, IN, passed away suddenly on February 2, 2022. She was born on August 17, 1955 in Gary, IN to Lawrence Quigley, who survives, and Harriet Quigley (nee Jackson), who preceded her in death on January 16, 2007. 

       On November 15, 1975 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, she married the love of her life, Rodney Swickard, who survives in Valparaiso. She is also survived by her loving children, Meaghan (Gordon) Bailey of Valparaiso, IN, Aaron (Brittany) Swickard of Springfield, TN; her treasured grandchildren: Dirk, Caden, Tyler, Jackson, Wyatt, Logan, and Genavieve; and by her siblings: Patty (Jim) Quigley if Carriveau, South Daytona FL, Larry (Lori) Quigley of Brown Deer, WI, Shawn (Vicki) Quigley of Lafayette, IN, and Kathleen “Kitty” (Jack) Neuliep of Westville, IN. 

       Jennifer loved camping with her family, fishing, and reading. Her favorite hobby was spending time with her grandchildren. 

       Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 5 p.m. at White- Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St., Chesterton, IN. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Masks are strongly recommended inside the funeral home.
