Jeanette Schnadenberg

Jeanette Schnadenberg, age 81 of Chesterton, IN, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 26, 1938 in Worth, WV to Lawrence and Lethia (Dalton) Scott, both of whom preceded her in death. 
 

She is survived by her loving children: Debra (Randy) Phillips of Chesterton, IN, John (Karan) Schnadenberg of Chesterton, IN, Carol Schnadenberg of Chesterton, IN and Steve Schnadenberg of Noblesville, IN; her adoring grandchildren: Nicholas and Christopher Phillips, Jared Schnadenberg, Tara Schnadenberg, Echo Denny, Holly Bradford, Matthew Stephens, Michael Schnadenberg, Tatiana Ritter, Erin Sanders, Cory Olson and Kyle Olson; and Barry Scott, her beloved nephew who drove her to doctor appointments, and cared for her in her last days. Jeanette had 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Josh Phillips in 1999; and by her siblings: Willard, Barbara, Lois, Kinard, Claudine, Frank, Steve, and Edith.

Jeanette was employed by the Duneland School Corporation, where she was a custodian for many years. Spending time with her family was her favorite hobby. She also loved baking and cooking meals for her beloved family. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 10 a.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton, IN.  Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday, December 20, 2019 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
