James Smederovac Obituary
James Smederovac, age 76 of Chesterton, IN, passed away on June 11, 2022. He was born on July 7, 1945 in Gary, IN to John and Mildred (Vidmich) Smederovac, both of whom preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret (Brauer) Smederovac, who survives in Chesterton, IN; his children, James Smederovac of Portage, IN and Rachel (Derek) Drake of Maine; his granddaughter, Freya; and by his brother, John Smederovac.
James proudly served his country in the United States Navy, having served in Vietnam for four years. He also enjoyed gardening.
