James R. Deweese

James R. Deweese, age 31 of Westville, passed away on January 25, 2014.  He was born on November 27, 1982 in Merrillville, IN to Randall J. and Ruth Berg-Deweese, both surviving in Westville.   James is also survived by his sister, Anne Deweese of Westville, paternal grandmother Maxine (Sam) Deweese Hockstra of Lafayette, IN, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Christine and John Berg and paternal grandfather Robert Deweese.
James was a loving son, brother, cousin and grandson.  He loved and appreciated wildlife and nature.  He loved life and never knew a stranger.  He fought a brave, long battle.  He will always be in our hearts and our memories.  
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 2 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd Street, Chesterton, IN with Pastor Craig Forwalter officiating.  The family will receive friends on Monday from 12 p.m. until time of service.  Please bring your favorite memories of James to share.  Memorial donations may be given to local Rottweiler and Pit Bull rescue centers.To send an online condolence, please visit www.whitelovefuneralhome.com.
