Ida Ruth (Jones) Brasher

       Ida Ruth Brasher, age 82 of Chesterton, IN, passed away on January 4, 2025. She was born on February 22, 1942 in Birmingham, AL to James Washington Jones and Annie (Whitfield) Jones, both of whom preceded her in death.  

       She is survived by her loving daughter, Nicole (Gene) Clark of Chesterton, IN; her treasured grandchildren: Skyler Brasher, Sierra Clark, and Ryley Clark; her brother, Randall Keith Jones of Alabama; and her nephew, William Taylor Psneol of Alabama. 

       In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings: Frances Covelle, Gretha Nell Myrack, Barbara Sue Myrack, Larry Wayne Jones, James Alfred Jones, and Roger Jones. 

       Ida liked reading the Bible, listening to Gospel music, and loved Elvis. 

       No services will be held at this time.
