Harold Eugene Fuoss

 Harold Eugene Fuoss, age 90 of Westville, passed away on September 18, 2017 at his home. He was born on February 3, 1927 to William and Myrtle Fuoss, both of whom preceded him in death. On January 25, 1948, he married Betty Hammer Fuoss, his loving wife of nearly 70 years, who survives in Westville.

He is also survived by his children: Deborah (Dave) Viall of Barrington, IL, Pamela Sue Lane of Munster, IN, and Ruth (Monty) Thacker of Howe, OK; grandchildren: Jennifer (Tim) Janowick of Barrington, IN, Jeremy Parmenter of Boulder, CO, Michael (Stacey) Killeen of Dyer, IN, Kenneth (Shannon) Fink of Wheatfield, IN, SSG Jason Fuoss of Fort Leonard Wood, MO, Anthony (Christin) Fink of Greenwood, AR, Amanda (Alex) Hood of Wanatah, IN, Tim Thacker of Floresville, TX, and Ashley Thacker of Poteau, OK; and by his great-grandchildren: Bridgitte, Gregory, Ruari, Nessa, Tylor, Carly, Lizzy, Camren, Walker, Alexis, Samantha, Ethan, Zoee, and Thomas.

Harold was a member of Crosspointe Christian Church. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII, where he was a Shipfitter 3rd Class. He loved puzzles and completed over 5,000 of them. He also enjoyed reading and loved his kitties-Norwegien snow cats.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 1 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South Second Street, Chesterton, IN, with Pastor Tim Wanless officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
