Grace Irene Diamond

       Grace Irene Diamond; loving wife, wonderful mother and rock of the family, passed peacefully on December 25, 2021 at 84 years of age.

       She is survived by Victor, her loving husband of 58 years, of Westville, IN; her loving sons, Doug Diamond of California and Daniel Diamond of Lafayette, IN; her sisters, Carol Christman of Chesterton, IN and Ruth Hackett of Houston, TX; and by her many nieces and nephews. 

       Grace was born on August 18, 1937 in Chesterton, IN to John and Martha (Fritz) Neuliep, both of whom preceded her in death. In addition to parents, Grace was also preceded in death by her sister, Edith Link; and by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Ed and Mildred Neuliep and Fred and Norma Neuliep.

       Grace’s deep caring for others was evident in her boundless devotion to family and in her work at Beatty Hospital as a nurse’s aide supervisor, caring for those with emotional needs.

       Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 1 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St., Chesterton, IN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Masks are strongly recommended inside the funeral home.

       Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.
