Evelyn L. (Jovas) Gualandi

       Evelyn L. Gualandi, age 83 of Pines, IN, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on September 17, 1938 in East Chicago, IN to John and Dorothy (McNabb) Jovas, both of whom preceded her in death.

       She is survived by her loving children: Tom Jett, Tami (Danny) Reynolds, Terryi (Gary) Gault, and Steve (Paula) Gualandi; her brother, Leon (Shirley) Jovas; her eight grandchildren; and her twelve great-grandchildren.
 
       In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Georgie; and by her sisters, Mary and Tina.

       Evelyn was a devoted member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, where she enjoyed volunteering.  She was also a member of Mom’s on a Mission, an organization created to help seniors. Her favorite hobbies included: working in her yard, hanging out with her family and friends, decorating for holidays, walking her animals, and taking pictures of her animals.
