Duwain Albert Woodworth (September 19, 1955 – April 7, 2026)
On April 7, 2026, we lost an integral part of our family. Duwain was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty (Tracy) Woodworth. He is survived by his wife, Vickie; his sons, Chris (Charlie) and Jacob (Elisabeth); his daughter in law, Liz Devona; grandsons, Logan, Luke, Landon, and Henry; his godson, Nick (Maria) Schuyler; and his siblings.
Duwain was known to many as a steadfast presence, someone who would drop everything to lend a hand or simply sit and listen when a friend was needed. He was often found in his garage, working on something for his sons or grandsons, or helping a neighbor who needed a bit of extra support.
His greatest love and deepest pride in life was his sons and grandsons. More often than not, you could find them together working side by side on a project, reminiscing about the many cars he had owned and restored, or dreaming up their next one. And with his youngest grandson, those moments looked like laughter-filled afternoons, running around together until they were both worn out and giggling.
This unexpected loss will be felt for years to come. “Pawpaw” was always there, ready to help, quick to offer thoughtful advice, and often anticipating a need before it was spoken. He showed up for life’s biggest moments, but more importantly, he made himself available in the everyday ones. A reassuring hand on the shoulder, a quiet and steady companion. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
