Dorothy Wroblewski

       Dorothy Wroblewski, 92, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023. 

       She was born on February 22, 1931 to the late Steven and Helen (Sopcak) Hroma in South Chicago, IL. 

       On September 3, 1949, she married George Wroblewski at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Otis. 

       She is survived by her children: Janet Shebel, Karen Kelley, Jim Wroblewski, and Jerry Wroblewski; daughter-in-law, Valerie Wroblewski; grandchildren: Cindy (Greg) Enos, Sheri Brackeen, Shawn Wroblewski, Kelly Wroblewski, Shane Kelley, and Bryan (Ashlee) Kelley; and by her great-grandchildren: Jesse Unger, Chase Brackeen, Brooke Enos, and Brendan Enos. 

       She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers, Michael and Charles Hroma, her son, George, and son-in-law, Dan Shebel. 

       She was a lifetime member of St. Mary’s Rosary Sodality and assisted in the religious education program. She was a very loving and caring mom, grandma, and great-grandma. She will be missed.

       A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Otis, IN.  The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
