Dennis L. Novak

       Dennis L. Novak, age 73 of LaPorte, IN, passed away on April 9, 2022 at his home. He was born on December 23, 1948 in Worcester, MA to Henry J. and Wanda A. (Rylisko) Novak, both of whom preceded him in death.
        On March 31, 2007, he married his loving wife, Rebecca L. (Kaskie) Novak, who survives in LaPorte, IN.  He is also survived by his sister, Dale (Jason) Newton of Holden, MA; his son, Keith Novak of Seattle, WA; his daughters: Meredith Novak of Dismal, TN, Michele Andersen of LaPorte, IN, Bethany O’Shea of Oberon, New South Wales, Casey O’Shea of Valparaiso, IN, and Gabby O’Shea of Lombard, IL; his grandchildren: Morgan Novak, Katherine Walther, Lynsay Biller, Ryan Greeno, Jessica Bunting, Jacob O’Shea, Aaron O’Shea, Dylan Soto, and James Baxter; and by his great-grandchildren: Ronald, Kaylee, Rylee, and Octavya.
        Dennis was a loving family man and a very loyal friend. He loved to travel, was an avid reader, and was a gun and weapon enthusiast. Dennis was a Vietnam Veteran, Boy Scout Leader, and Sunday School teacher. His heart was big.  He was always ready to help family, friends, or strangers.

       A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. at Springville Community Church, 5244 N State Road 39, LaPorte, IN 46350
