Dawn Louise (Frank) Dees

 Dawn Louise Dees, age 59 of Chesterton, passed away on October 2, 2017 at her home. She was born on September 15, 1958 in Valparaiso, IN to Floyd J. and Doris E. Frank, both of whom preceded her in death. On July 11, 1992 at Odgen Gardens in Valparaiso, IN she married Rick Dees who survives in Chesterton.

She is also survived by her daughters, Amanda (Zachary) Krachinski of LaPorte, IN and Jacqueline (Joshua) Holmes of Valparaiso, IN; her sister, Kim (Dan) Miller of Chesterton, IN; and by her grandchildren: Regan Krachinski, Ava Krachinski, Joshua Holmes, and Madison Holmes.

She is also preceded in death by her beloved best friend, Patty Vendl.

Dawn loved gardening and interior design. She also loved decorating the outside of her home for different holidays and seasons. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South Second Street, Chesterton, IN.
