David G. Etheridge

       David G. Etheridge, age 66 of Porter, IN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in Valparaiso, IN.  He was born on February 21, 1955 in Harvey, IL to Alfred and Norma Jean (Nelson) Etheridge, both of whom preceded him in death. 

       On December 13, 1975 in Harvey, IL, he married the love of his life, Charlotte (Graves) Etheridge, who survives in Porter, IN.  He is also survived by his loving children, Carly (James) Turnes of Corning, CA and David A. (fiancé, Nicole Wise) Etheridge of Porter, IN; by his treasured grandchildren: Amelia, Chloe, Sophia, Evie, Theodore, Carter, and Arya; his brother, Roger (Karen) Etheridge of Chicago Heights, IL; and by his numerous nieces and nephews.

       He was also preceded in death by his three infants and by his brother, Michael Etheridge.

       David was a 1973 graduate of Thornridge High School. He was also a devoted member of the Living Word Church in Valparaiso.  He was a wonderful musician and especially loved playing the guitar and singing. David also loved working with people.  He will forever be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.

       A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Living Word Sanctuary, 737 N State Rd 149, Valparaiso, IN 46385.  The family will receive friends for a Memorial Visitation from 12 p.m. until time of service at the church.

       In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Etheridge family.
