David Collins

       David Collins, age 71 of Chesterton, IN, passed away on December 8, 2025.  He was born on November 17, 1954, in Knox, IN to Glen and Betty Collins, both of whom preceded him in death. 

       He is survived by his loving sons, Jonathan Collins of Washington and Matthew (Shannon) Collins of Porter, IN; his treasured grandchildren, Josephine Collins of Washington and Lynn Marie Collins; his sisters, Dawn (Abe) Babendrager, Yvonne (Ron) Hine, Rhonda (Dan) Kinsey, and Gaynelle (Kenny) Voreis; and by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. 

       In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lynn, on July 8, 2002. 

       David was an avid golfer. He loved music and played the drums for his whole life.  He will forever be remembered as a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

       Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 2 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St., Chesterton, IN.  The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
