Daniel Cincoski Sr.

       Daniel Cincoski Sr., age 82 of LaPorte, IN, passed away on December 30, 2025.  He was born on July 15, 1943, in Chesterton, IN, to Milford and Beatrice Cincoski, both of whom preceded him in death. 

       He is survived by his loving sons, Dave (Stephanie) Cincoski of LaPorte, IN and Daniel (Ganese) Cincoski Jr. of LaPorte, IN; his treasured grandchildren, Alex Cincoski of Chesterton, IN and Zachary Goodrich (Victoria “Paige”) of Wanatah, IN; his adoring great-grandchildren, Zayne and Hazel Mae; and by his siblings: Shelly Young (late James), Debbie Kemp (late Tom), Vicki Cincoski, Darrell “Joe” Cincoski, Lawrence (Jean) Cincoski, John Cincoski, Julie (Bob) Ashton, Sandi (James) Nielson, Paul Cincoski, and Mark (Beth Ann) Cincoski. 

       In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his beloved stepson, Nick Deal; and his sister, Sharon Wood.

       Daniel was proud to have farmed in Kouts. He loved the outdoors and spent endless hours walking with his trusty walking stick in hand.  He enjoyed being around his family playing many hands of ‘500’ with his siblings, often well into the late night.  Known as “Pops” to many, he was never without a smile on his face.  He was a devout fan of John Wayne, wearing out multiple DVD players from watching uncounted hours of the Duke’s greatest movies.

       Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 4 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St., Chesterton, IN.  The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

       In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Indiana Veterans’ Home, 3851 N River Rd, West Lafayette, IN 47906.
