Cynthia Lynne (Markgraf) Porozynski

       Cynthia Lynne Porozynski, age 67 of Chesterton, IN, passed away on November 9, 2022.  She was born on November 14, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas to Robert Markgraf, who survives, and Mary (MacMahan) Markgraf, who preceded her in death. 

       On December 26, 1980, she married the love of her life, Philip Porozynski, who survives in Chesterton.  She is also survived by her children: Grace (Clint) Ammann of Pinellas Park, Florida, Carol (Adam) Rich of Welland, Ontario,  Amy (Michael) McDaniel of Challis, Idaho, Ethan (Amy) Porozynski of Porter, Indiana, and Joel (Carla) Porozynski of Chesterton, Indiana; her grandchildren: Hazel, Quincy, Abigail, Cyrus, Isaac, Abel, Nathaniel, Jack, Joshua, and Stephen; and by her siblings: Charles “Greg” Markgraf of Madison, Wisconsin, Phyllis Whitcomb of Madison, Wisconsin, and Steven Markgraf of Madison, Wisconsin.

       Cynthia was a devoted member of Fairhaven Baptist Church.  She loved volunteering at the church.

       Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at noon at Fairhaven Baptist Church, 86 E Oak Hill Rd, Chesterton, Indiana.

       Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.

       Memorial donations in honor of Cynthia may be given to the church.
