Cynthia S. (Salinas) McClure

       Cynthia Salinas McClure, age 69 of LaPorte, IN, passed away on March 7, 2024. She was born on March 26, 1954 in Knox, IN to Fermine and Marie (Stacey) Salinas, both of whom preceded her in death.

       On January 5, 1974 at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, she married the love of her life, Thomas McClure, who survives in LaPorte, IN. She is also survived by her loving children, Scott McClure of Porter, IN and Tieyana McClure of LaPorte, IN; her grandchildren: Kaleb Cooper, Dace Cooper, and Jackson McClure; her sisters, Debra (Paul) Pearman of Alabama and Marcella (Robert) Goin of Chesterton, IN; and by her many nieces and nephews. 

       Cynthia and her daughter were partners in McClure & McClure Attorneys at Law LLC. She and her family also owned and operated McClure Christmas Tree Farm in LaPorte. 

       She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved raising horses, was an avid gardener, and love traveling to state and federal parks. 

       Visitation will be held Friday, March 15, 2024 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St, Chesterton, IN.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.
