Corrine Peterson

       Corrine Peterson went peacefully home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Saturday, June 7, 2025. She was born on July 14, 1929.
       She was a lifelong Chesterton, Indiana resident with a recent residence in La Porte, Indiana. She was a lifelong student of the Bible and led many Bible studies as well as being a speaker for Christian women’s club for many years. Along with these ministries, Corrine also founded a thriving floral wholesale business, The Fringe of the Dunes, which served the industry for over 17 years.
       She is survived by her three daughters Ryne Peterson Gust of LaPorte, Lisa (David) Sellers of Amherst, OH and Mandi (John) Cornett of LaPorte; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
       She was proceeded in death by her husband of 64 years, Roy E. Peterson. She was also proceeded in death by her brothers, Sheldon Peterson, Warren Peterson, Donald, Peterson, and Roger Peterson as well as a granddaughter, Jennifer Leigh Sellers.
       The family will receive friends at Liberty Bible Church La Porte, 608 Colfax Ave, La Porte, IN on Wednesday, June 11th at 10 a.m. with the funeral following at 11:30 a.m.
Burial will be at Chesterton Cemetery.
