Chung Suk (Byon) Stump

Chung Suk Stump, age 83 of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2020.  She was born on March 20, 1937 in Korea.

She is survived by her loving children: James Stump, Roselee (Adam Nugnis) Sonaty, Patrice (James) Davis, and George Stump; her adoring grandchildren: Jimmy (Megan) Hernandez, Cori (Josh) Fern, Amanda (Ryan Carney) Stump, Sean (Kelly) Davis, Julie (Karli) Stump, Joseph Sonaty, Amber Davis, Destiny Stump, and Eddy Stump; and by her treasured great-grandchildren: Monika Montgomery, Alissa Davis, Aiden Davis, Paige Fern, and Jude West. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward Stump, her brothers, and by her sister.  

Chung was a member of Munster Assembly of God.  She loved her church deeply. 

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020 at 3 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St., Chesterton, IN.  The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.  

***Due to Governor’s order, masks/facial coverings that cover mouth and nose are required at all times inside the funeral home and outside the funeral home where social distancing cannot be maintained. 

Per county regulation, no more than 25 people are allowed inside the funeral home. Social distancing is mandatory at all times.
