Christopher Rutkowski

Christopher Rutkowski, age 45 of Chesterton, IN, passed away unexpectedly on October 12, 2020.  He was born on April 24, 1975 in Chicago, IL to Raymond and Antonia (Nikolic) Rutkowski, both of whom survive in Chesterton.

He is also survived by his loving sisters, Lisa (Nick) Brown of Arizona City, AZ and Stefanie (Mike) Clark of Chesterton, IN; his adoring nieces and nephew: Stacy, Jamie, and Brooke; and by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and wonderful friends. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Christopher was a 1993 graduate of Chesterton High School.  He loved writing for the school newspaper, and even had his own movie review section called “Rutt Vision.”

He enjoyed going to concerts and having his photo taken with celebrities.  He was a self-proclaimed foodie and loved trying a variety of foods from all around the world.  He also loved fishing with his dad, his nieces and nephew. Most of all, he loved being an uncle to his wonderful nieces and nephew.

Services will be held at a later date.
