Charlotte Laurel (Werbstein) Schneider

       Charlotte Laurel Schneider (Werbstein) age 83, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025.  She was born on May 4, 1941, in Astoria, NY to Charles "Bill" and Marion (Miller) Werbstein, both of whom preceded her in death.  

       She is survived by the love of her life, Ronald Schneider of Porter, IN; her loving sons, Michael Schneider of Porter, IN and Chris Schneider of Conway, SC; her treasured grandsons, John and Christopher; and by her brothers, Pete (Holly) Werbstein of Florida and Tim (Steve) Werbstein of Virginia.

       In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Susan.  

       Charlotte was a devoted member of the church of Christian Science. Later in life, she went to college, earned her 4 year degree in Accounting and worked as an accountant until retirement. She loved to collect dolls, play Mahjong, complete puzzles, and color.  Being a Girl Scout Troop leader was incredibly important to Charlotte, and she loved going on trips with them throughout the Northeast.  

       No services will be held at this time.
