Carolyn D. (Durham) Wagner

       Carolyn D. Wagner, age 80 of Chesterton, IN, passed away on October 2, 2024.  She was born on August 4, 1944 in Eaton Rapids, MI to Lee Roy and Irene (Jonas) Durham, both of whom preceded her in death.

       She is survived by her loving children: Brenda (Steve) Marciniak, Glenda (late Jack) Ronco, John (Carolyn) Wagner, Michael (Dawn) Wagner, and Melyssa (Samuel) Haines; her grandchildren: Caylee, Jessie, Matt, Abbey (Nate); her great-grandchildren:  Asha, Lucy, Maxlee, Grayson, and Emery; and by her brother-in-law, Duane Wagner.

       In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Allen Wagner on September 18, 2024; and by her three brothers: Edward, Jack, and Perry (William) Ratliff.

       Carolyn and her husband owned “Crazy Al’s” in Chesterton for many decades.  She especially loved her Goldens, Brewster and Snowball.  She was an avid bowler, Cubs fan and enjoyed watching game shows.

       Private family burial will be held at a later date.
