Carolyn (Little) Medrano

Carolyn Medrano, age 79 of Chesterton, IN, passed away on November 9, 2022.  She was born on February 14, 1943 in Ironwood, MI to William L. and Anice (Pope) Little, both of whom preceded her in death.

Carolyn is survived by her grandchildren: Heather (Brandon) Willsey of Laporte, IN, Sammie (James) Stacey-Gerber of LaPorte, IN, Stormy Friday of LaPorte, IN, and Annie (Shawn) Rogers-Friday of Burns Harbor, IN; her siblings: Janet (Miguel) Bernacet of Hobart, IN and Michael (Gayle) Little of Pittsburgh, PA; her great-grandchildren: Abigail, Dylan, Cameron, and Reagan; her niece, Nicole Bernacet; her nephews, Jose Mireles and Nicasio Mireles; and by her former daughter-in-law, Karen Friday.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Medrano; and her son, Glenn (Linda Donaldson) Friday in 2020.

Carolyn was a nurse at St. Catherine Hospital and Saint Anthony Hospital. She also worked for various home health care agencies. She loved her grandchildren dearly and also loved baking, reading, and spending time with her sister at the casino.
