Brian L. Golembiewski, age 70 of Porter, IN, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2021. He was born on June 3, 1950 in Fort Wayne, IN to Walter and Donna (Russell) Golembiewski, both of whom preceded him in death.
On March 5, 1988 in Fort Wayne, IN, he married the love of his life, Victoria (Pettigrew) Golembiewski, who survives in Porter, IN. He is also survived by his loving children: Kristen (Anthony) Coslet of Chesterton, IN, Chad (Heather) Gengnagel of Chesterton, IN, Scott (Kelly) Gengnagel of Chesterton, IN, Jeff (Michelle) Koop of Fort Wayne, IN, Jodie (Chad) Walton of St. Joe, IN, Sara (Nick) Brown of Fort Wayne, IN, and Shellie (Gary) Ruch of Fort Wayne, IN; his brother, Keith Golembiewski of Fort Wayne, IN; his eighteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Diane Smith, and by his brother, Vaughn Golembiewski.
Brian was the president of the Pines of Hunter’s Glen Association for many years. His favorite place in the world was his cabin in Michigan, where he would often be found driving his pontoon and going snowmobiling. He also loved partaking in karaoke with his family and friends. He loved life and lived every day to the fullest.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 5 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St., Chesterton, IN with Pastor Cathy Allison officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Masks and social distancing are mandatory at all times inside and outside the funeral home.
